Description From Original Ad: 1969 Datsun 510 2dr, These days these are hard to come by!! I bought this car with the best of intentions like most but I’ve run out of time and this car needs a new home. I had it painted by the auto body class at Livermore high school last year and they did a nice “driver paint job” and after that the time to reassemble it has been impossible for me to find!! The body is in good shape but a few spots are starting to bubble a little. I had them replace the panel below the tail light panel and replace a part of the right quarter and rocker. The drivers door need to be hung still. I’m no body guy but the painter said I needed new hinges so I bought NOS hinges(OUCH!!!!)
The body is solid and ready to enjoy the L20 with side drafts and the Z 5spd, so spend a little time finishing what I couldn’t and be enjoying this summer!!!!
-I have brand new front and rear glass seals
-fiberglass decklid(still have steel decklid if you want to shave the lock and pin)
-drivers door need to be installed after purchase of new NOS hinges
-body smoothed out and freshly painted
-front valance painted and ready to install
-front airdam painted body color
-trunk floor in super shape
-floors were replaced by previous owner and interior has dynamat
-back seat is there and in 7/10 shape
-headliner is in ok shape but need sail panels replaced

-I started to re do the brakes but it need to be finished. I re did the rears, turned the fronts and added new brake pads and I have a new master to put in but they need to be finished to drive the car

I had super big plans to have a bad ass 510 like I did in my 20’s So I’ve gathered a bunch of really good parts and have a car with a lot of potential!!!! The car has paperwork but I’m not sure if there are any fees due.
Listing this car at a realistically firm price!!! I know what these go for and I know what parts go for as well. No trades unless you have 32 Ford parts or a V8 powered Z car.
