  1. I wish we all had foresight! My family had a ’72 wagon, blue with white interior and I should have bought it and stored it instead of letting my mother trade it in. It was a 4-speed L16. I know they are not the fastest cars on earth but I am always puzzled by the need to take something so well engineered and recreate it. One day I hope to find a great wagon shell and rebuild it to original showroom condition. I have a copy of the options available and would load it up to make it the most ‘luxurious’ model available at the time. One slight modification would be center console mounted power windows just for fun.
